Gryteselv forest delivers the finest birchwood

for the design and production

of children's toys and furniture.

Pinewood is used as a building material. Jan chops

the lumber he needs,

saws the logs on his own sawmill, sorts them and

puts them to dry.

 He experiments, tries out designs

and produces toys, furniture and kitchen/dinner

utensils with ready dried wood.

Alongside this small scale production of design

items, Jan also designs and produces the packaging

of the small scale products for the farm shop.
